Restoring the prohibition era grandeur to this 1907 downtown landmark meant serving this restaurant, bar and event space a splash of Asheville's by-gone gin joint and speakeasy heritage- brining the past to life with an exciting modern flair. The journey began in the library archives, dusting off photographs and connecting with the region's rich history.  Those images now appear for all to see, connecting past to present.  The vintage feel flows throughout the space, through finishes, fixtures and furniture; from historical signage to nostalgic tile work. The collaboration of talented professionals on our team resulted in being honored with an Asheville Preservation Society Griffin Award. [view award]
